In response to the growing need for sustainable pastoralist development, STP was formally registered as a non-governmental organization in Kenya. With its headquarters in Lodwar Town, Turkana County, STP is committed to addressing the pressing challenges faced by pastoralist communities in the region. While initially focused on Turkana County, the organization aims to expand its reach to other pastoralist areas such as West Pokot, Elgeyo Marakwet, Kajiado, and Baringo as it grows.
